I love seeing those little babies making their appearance. We have a ways to go, I imagine, before they show up here!

Here in Rhode Island, the perennials are mighty confused by the lack of snow and cold. Many continue to poke their heads out, only to retreat, then repeat the cycle. A month ago I belatedly cut back a climbing rose and it already had the start of leaves. Hard to know what will bloom when. But we are ready for any sign of real spring.

I am waiting like an impatient child for our bulbs that we planted this year to sprout. So far no sign. There are others sprouting all over town. I'm hoping the local gopher didn't eat them all up. :-(

I' can just imagine how beautiful they'll be when they're in full bloom.

Oh, I love that little bright spot of Spring you shared!

That feeling of excitement and joy never changes, does it? Each year it is just as exciting to see the gray of winter coming to an end!

Thanks for an outstandingly hopeful link for Alphabe-Thursday's letter 'O'.
