Is there anything better than a really, really great ice cream cone filled with frozen custard? Preferably chocolate? Preferably free (thanks, Nancy and Grace. We have enough left on our gift cards for one more round.)?
Blue Moon beer with an orange slice just doesn't have the same appeal in December as it does in July and August. Champagne also tastes better. (As I look at this list, I think I need to use fewer alcoholic references and more food-based delights....Thinking...)
Which all goes to prove that this summervore is dreading Labor Day and what is lurking just behind it:
So not ready.

You've got me hankering for a Blue Moon with orange now, dangit. A Corona with lime will have to do. I share your love of summer foods, especially watermelon and fresh corn on the cob. Oh, and ripe peaches. Now I'm hungry AND thirsty!
I share your thoughts on hating to see summer go. Love fall, HATE winter. (Where did you find that hateful picture of #&*@?) But it's not over yet! There's still the Labor Day Parade. Do you still go to the parades like you used to?
Donna C.
Afraid when the Gs left town, we turned our backs on the parades. Not enough parking, crazy weather, not enough parking. This year, however, we will be watching "our" float.
Shame on you for jumping to January!!Ugh, I dread the dreary days!
Delightful. Loved your "last lick of summer" :-)
How is it that I have never heard of Blue Moon with an orange OR Andy's?
Come back, Shane. And I'll show ya a thing or two =)
This posting gave me the chills
