Snap

We didn't get smacked too bad last night, though there is still plenty of time to be snowed under, in and away.

It's a good day to head into the basement to wrassle family pictures into albums. I'm already on the third volume, starting with a picture taken in 1899 of a town in southern Illinois that was home to my husband's family since before the Civil War.

It may be several winters and many albums before I reach the Eisenhower years.

Have any bodacious projects looming in your basement? Let me know what you're doing to hold winter at bay (besides brownies, tortilla chips, Nextflix and wine. Not that I have personal knowledge of one of those things.)

I have piles of pictures to file too.

My entire basement is a project. So is the study. I'd rather be reading, though, and counting down the days to southern, Aizona, vacation. And so I am.

I should be organizing, but on a snowy day I can't help but bake. My house smells like cinnamon, brown sugar and toasted pecans. Now I just have to make sure not to eat it all.

I'd like to be at Beth's house!

I am trying to organize my apartment down to the absolute basics. I want no obsolete clutter whatsoever. Only the best will do.

i'm kind of mystified, but i'm not sick of winter yet. it was so beautiful this morning, with five more inches.

Heavens, No! The chipmunks have put up a disco ball and I have no plans to ruin their winter! But thanks for asking :)

What basement? You go down 3 feet here on Skidaway Island and you hit water!

That is at least one good thing about bad weather...we can tend to things we normally don't get to. I have soooo many spring cleaning projects I need to get to...and here I sit typing. LOL!
Stay warm...
Blessings,
Cindy
