Light

I believe we are getting there.

Sunlight is starting to show up on these winter days.

Without the snow cover, the shadows wouldn't be quite as playful.

Or as artful.

(I'm thinking mermaid hair. Your impression?)

My friend Cherrie used to say at least February is the shortest month of the year. With a smallish leap, we are that much closer to March and the ultimate prize of spring.

Here's to the leap.

Each week Naperville Now participates in Mrs. Matlock's Alphabe-Thursday. See what other Alphabetarians have to say about the letter L here.

I think we've leaped -- it's going to be 75 today! Hubby is wearing shorts.
Love your shadows!

I miss sunlight very much because we have had too very little of it. Yes, I am glad that this month is a very short one and look forward to march which can still be unpredictable. Yet I am full of hope.

When I first looked at that first photo I thought it was a wave on a sandy beach. Wishful thinking.

Love the light and shadows in the photos. And, love to see the snow, on the screen, NOT on the streets here! Thanks for sharing!
