Lots of Phlox

We are limited in what we can grow here because of an abundance of trees and beaucoup shade.

My neighbor, however, can grow just about anything, anywhere, anytime (under the same conditions).

Her entire front yard is currently abloom with phlox. Lavender, white, magenta.

This is just a narrow glimpse. (I am really getting lazy with this iPhone. My camera's upstairs. I'm downstairs. Yada yada.)

One of the fun things about Donna's yard is you just never know what's going to pop up.

Ever changing. A delight for the eye.

at least you get to look at her yard while she looks at yours! All her work pays off for your view. LOL.

This summer you must be glad of all the shade from your trees! Especially, if the neighbour is willing to proved the flowers. ~ Maureen

Nice.
And the smell of Phlox always reminds me of my childhood!

My phlox is a forest of brown twigs with a few leaves at the top. It is so nice to see a garden that is faring much better than mine.

A shade garden can be a challenge...but a beautiful one. Maybe your neighbour will share her secrets. :)

I love phlox bouquets! Maybe you could sneak a few to fill a milk glass vase!

I love creeping phlox! But, they don't stay bloomed for now. I would love to have our hilly portion of the front yard covered with these dainty little flowers, but I do not have a green thumb or patience.

I envy you for your fantastic view, without having any of the work I might add. I can almost smell the flowers.
