Wonderful Miss Sue. I wish I had a picture of my dad in uniform. He had a bad eye and couldn't make the cut so he joined the Merchant Marines, traveled the world including a sunken ship, but alas no pictures. He always felt ashamed he couldn't serve in the regular forces. Such a wrong way to feel. I salute him today, he did all he could.

I join in your salute to all who serve and have served - and to the ones they leave behind who keep things running in their absence. Must add a sidebar though - wow, does Charlie look like his dad or what? Amazing - and I see both of your daughters in that Johnpeter face too!

AJ looks so much like my Dad, it's amazing. Betsy definitely resembles Charlie and Al (and his granddad, who served in the Great War, btw).
