Really?

Better as a Christmas card than reality.

First view of monster storm -- garage door build up

Bear in mind, there is as much snow on this covered porch
as there is outside of it.

I've been meaning to remove those screens.

Deer was frozen fast to the ground, so she was left to cope on her own.
Sorry, deer.

Thank you, Charlie. And thank you, Ariens snowblower inventors.

"You want me to do what where? When there's a perfectly usable
dining room rug?"

Looking East. Thinking South. Definitely.

WOW! What more is there to say? I'll need a snowblower lesson from Charlie before our next storm. :-)

OMG it is going to take a while for everyone to dig out of that one. Unbelievable!

Those pictures are incredible! Do people actually live like that? To whet your appetite for the road trip (which I know you don't like) to Savannah - it's 72 degrees and sunny here today. Poor, poor Bandit. Cousin Rudy insists that he spend the winter with us next year.

Okay, I guess I am in the minority here but I think it is all beautiful and today - when the sun was out in all its glory - it was fun being outside shoveling and snowblowing! Yes, it will get ugly in a few days and, starting tonight, it will be really cold, but I am happy that I did not miss this one. And how about that thunder snow? Awesome!
